Vonda’s 2600 square foot home was built in 1997 and still had its original cabinetry. Vonda and her family wanted something new, her outdated kitchen was starting to have issues. It was time for a complete re-do. Once the old cabinets were removed it became obvious there were more problems than she originally thought. The flooring under the old cabinets was 2.5” lower than the rest of the kitchen flooring creating a unique situation for installing new cabinets. She hadn’t planned on new flooring in the budget and her hopes sank quickly.
LWi assessed the situation and designed the toe-kicks of the cabinets to accommodate this bizarre flooring issue. Problem solved! The result was a new modern kitchen that she and her family lowed. She added a wine cooler on one end and a special custom curved hood to the design.
